The Māori creation story centres around te wehenga (the separation) of Rangi and Papa, sky Father and earth Mother, by their son Tāne. This act allowed light to flood the world and allowed Tāne and his siblings to become the gods and goddesses of the natural world. Rangi and Papa still long for eachothers embrace, and this image depicts the anguish they felt during their separation.

All prints are made with a high qualtiy Epson Surecolor P7070 printer with archival grade inks and paper. For the best longevity, frame the artwork, preferably a quality frame from a framing store and display in an area of the house or studio that doesn't get direct sunlight. The sun can damage the artwork over time otherwise. Remember, you've paid all this money for a beautiful piece of art, don't cheapen it by displaying it in a cheap, bad quality frame.
All orders will be sent to printers Monday 24th March. Please allow time for print collection and packaging before I send them out to you. I appreciate your patience.
